How often have you looked back on the events of your life and seen a pattern emerge? Opportunities, decisions and encounters, taken separately, might appear as nothing more than coincidence; but step back and look again. In most cases, it’s easy to see a Power at work:

shaping, molding, and directing your life in ways that you could not have foreseen but can only appreciate in hindsight.

Tony and Marsha Woods point to that work as evidence for the Presence of God in our daily lives. The Bible tells us that we are the “light of the world” (Matthew 5:14), beacons that shine in an ever-darkening age. We stand today as the products of God’s handiwork, the tapestries that take shape under the Hand of the Master Weaver.

From their roots in Texas and  Colorado, Tony and Marsha journeyed into darkest Africa, there to experience both tremendous loss and unspeakable blessing. A new chapter opened to a lifetime of ministry in Japan where they would raise three children and bury one. Then after short assignments in Hong Kong and Thailand, they finally moved to Australia and the greatest adventure of them all: retirement. Tony and Marsha would like to share about God’s
