Leaving the Trail Through a land filled with beauty and danger, joy and despair, pilgrims are called to the journey which leads to the Promised Kingdom. Those who respond in faith discover a trail through the wilderness, and by their daily progress become more and more what they have been created to be. This is the story of Fisher and Sandy, beginning the journey as husband wife. In the first few miles together, they experience both the joy of their new relationship and the challenge of a new calling: to seek out those who have lost the way. Some in fact have been separated from the trail for so long that they have forgotten that such a way even exists. Falling victim to the deceits of the one known simply as the ‘Evil Man’, they have established whole communities in the wilderness, dependent upon his dubious mercy and led by his rule: a harsh system of justice which is enforced by demonic warriors. It is not until one family cries “enough” and tries to escape, that Fisher and Sandy are led into a horror so unspeakable that they must act, with or without the support of those on the trail who share their burden, but not their calling.
